Working out of Primal Revival, I have been in the health and fitness world since 2000. It all started with Kung Fu. The beauty of the system drew me in like nothing had prior. I spent 10 years practicing and teaching Kung Fu. I truly fell in love with this artistic form of movement. In 2008, I discovered kettlebells. Kettlebells drew me in the same way that Kung Fu had. The call Kettlebells the martial arts of strength training, and I absolutely believe it. So my love of movement turned into a love of strength as well. I spent the next couple years obsessed with learning how to pick up and manipulate all the heavy things. Kettlebells, barbells, sandbags, etc. But then it all came back to movement with Original Strength. If you don't move well, you can't be truly strong. Strength and movement are inseparable. You can't have one without the other. One thing that I've learned in my 18 years in the fitness industry, is that the quality of your life is directly related to how well you move. When you can't move well, you stop moving. The less you move, the worse you move. That's how it all starts. You don't fall apart because you age. You fall apart because you sit more and move less. The path to living a longer, happier, and healthier life is one of movement. I want my clients, and myself, to move gracefully for the rest of our lives. (and I don't want anyone to ever wipe my butt for me!) And that is what I want for you as well
